College Ave Church is a church in San Diego, California with a history dating back to at least 1901. After a period of meeting in members' homes, the church continued to grow through the early and mid-20th century. In 1934, services changed to English only, contributing to growth and a move to the college area. On July 28, 1940, the church moved to the corner of Adams Avenue and College Avenue. By 1962, membership had grown to more than 1,200, and five years later to more than 1,400. The church describes its mission as connecting with people, sharing more about the church, and helping them get involved.
