Barre South Downtown

Barre South Downtown is a boutique barre studio in Charleston that opened in 2018 in the WestEdge development as an early expansion of the Barre South brand. Rooted in founder Brett’s dance background, the studio’s class experience emphasizes discipline, musicality, and an accessible sense of community. The business is known for its polished studio design, welcoming team, and warm, unintimidating atmosphere. Across three locations, Barre South serves more than 1,200 monthly active clients. In addition to regular classes, the Downtown studio hosts private gatherings such as bachelorette parties, weddings, and other special events.
