B'nai Sephardim Synagogue is a South Florida congregation rooted in the Sephardi traditions of Spain and Portugal, the Middle East, and North Africa. With more than 40 years of communal history, it has been shaped by founding families, lay leadership, and a strong commitment to preserving Sephardi heritage and religious life. Its development included the formation and eventual unification of related congregations, including a 1985 merger with Shaare Shalom that marked a significant moment of transition and growth. The congregation's history reflects continuity, adaptation, and enduring communal leadership within Sephardi Jewish tradition.
