Cairn Christian Church is a progressive Christian congregation in Lafayette, Colorado, affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Founded in Boulder around 1875 as First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), the church later moved to Lafayette and adopted its current name to reflect a new chapter in its history. Cairn Christian Church describes itself as an inclusive community that is intentional about being LGBTQIA+, neurodiverse, and child friendly. An Open + Affirming congregation since 1997, it encourages questions as part of faith and advocates alongside people harmed by systems of power, especially those excluded from the church or church leadership.
