Chenrezig Tibetan Buddhist Center of Philadelphia is a non-sectarian, non-profit Tibetan Buddhist center founded in 1991 in Philadelphia. Open to Buddhists and non-Buddhists alike, it is focused on cultivating compassion and loving-kindness based on the philosophy and methods taught by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. The center offers weekly events for meditation, study, and community connection and was founded by Lama Losang Samten, an accomplished Tibetan scholar, former Buddhist monk, and the center's spiritual director.
