At the heart of Beauty Artist Studio is its founder, Nayoung Jeong—lead PMU, brow, and lash artist and educator. An independent, goal-driven woman, Nayoung always dreamed of owning her own business. Born and raised in South Korea, she grew up in a society that valued aesthetics and beauty, and her passion for art and makeup began early; as a young girl, she loved drawing detailed lashes and brows on portraits and giving her classmates makeovers, delighting in helping others look and feel their best.

Nayoung's professional journey reflects her dedication to her craft. She spent three years as a makeup artist and beauty expert at Lancôme, teaching clients about makeup enhancements and skincare. In 2008, she moved to New York to further her career, working as a freelance bridal makeup artist while studying Esthetics at Christine Valmy International School and Image Consulting at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). She went on to become a New York State certified eyelash extensions technician and semi-permanent makeup artist, rapidly building her clientele as she perfected her skills.

In 2017, Nayoung opened Beauty Artist Studio—her ultimate pride and joy. Her motto is to create an enticing, chic, and relaxing atmosphere where women can step away from their busy lives to pamper themselves in the city that never sleeps. With a strong rapport built on trust and genuine care, Nayoung and her studio are dedicated to helping every client maximize their natural beauty while feeling confident and comfortable in their own skin.
