Apex Mixed Martial Arts

Apex Mixed Martial Arts is a Tucson training gym focused on practical, competition-tested martial arts instruction. The gym serves members pursuing either fight preparation or demanding full-body conditioning, with an emphasis on discipline, motivation, and a strong team environment. Classes are led by professional fighters, athletes, and champions, and are built around methods, techniques, and drills proven through real competitive experience. Its Kids MMA program introduces students to traditional martial arts fundamentals alongside multiple disciplines, including karate, Muay Thai or kickboxing, boxing, judo, and wrestling, with an emphasis on confidence, structure, and personal growth. The coaching roster includes Jamie Ledbetter, whose background includes two NAGA tournament championships, three Apex Gym Wars appearances, and an Apex Judo green belt, and Louis Maldonado, who brings 48 years of martial arts and MMA experience.
