Dr. James G. Kyser, MD is a Nashville-based psychiatrist in private practice since 1991. Board certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology since 1993, he also holds certification from the state of Tennessee Medical Impairment Registry. His practice includes forensic psychiatry, with work in fitness-for-duty evaluations, independent medical evaluations, and medical malpractice matters. Dr. Kyser completed psychiatric training at Vanderbilt University Medical School, earned a master's degree in clinical psychology from Trinity University, and completed medical training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences after graduating from the University of Arkansas. He also serves as the legislative representative for the Tennessee Psychiatric Association.
