Danswest Dance Studio is a Tucson dance studio offering dance lessons in ballet, jazz, tap, modern, and contemporary, among other styles. Its curriculum is designed to help each dancer develop individual potential. Now in its 20th season, the studio emphasizes quality dance training, community spirit, and a multigenerational love for movement. Danswest also has a dance company for students who demonstrate exceptional talent and ability in styles including tap, jazz, modern, hip hop, contemporary, and musical theater; participation is by invitation and/or audition, and the company takes part in regional dance competitions.
