Dr. Gregory J. Esmer, D.O., is a Portland osteopathic physician focused on helping people suffering from pain through Osteopathic Manual Medicine. Board certified in Osteopathic Manual Medicine, he uses a range of hands-on approaches to establish a diagnosis, address patient concerns, and provide treatment aimed at restoring health and improving quality of life. Dr. Esmer is the founding president of the Northwest Academy of Osteopathy, a regional professional organization for OMM. He earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed residency training at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. He also served as principal investigator of a clinical trial published in 2010 in the Journal of the American Osteopathic Association.
