Christ Church Cathedral is an Episcopal church in Nashville, Tennessee, within the Episcopal Diocese of Tennessee. Founded in 1829, it laid the cornerstone of the first Episcopal church structure in Tennessee in 1830. The church is part of the Episcopal Church and the worldwide Anglican Communion, and by 1960 it had helped establish 13 mission churches in the diocese.
